Beyoncé Knowles-Carter has been minding her business and ́launchesnewwhiskeywithMoëcreating new ones, as the superstar has just publicly announced her brand new whiskey line, SirDavis.
The "Ya Ya" singer took to Instagram Tuesday, posing alongside a glass of the drink and showing off the new bottle, which features an emblem of a golden horse. In the caption she wrote lyrics from her 2024 song "Bodyguard," "Davis in my bones," while providing the SirDavis website.
The American whiskey was founded by Beyoncé and crafted in partnership with Moët Hennessy and celebrated master distiller Bill Lumsden.
"Here the complexity of rye is married with the elegance of malted barley. Finished to perfection in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, a harmony of spice with sublime hints of fruit," is how the official site describes the liquor. And it boasts already being an award-winning American whiskey brand, receiving multiple awards in 2023.
SirDavis is named after her great-grandfather whose first name was Davis, and she seems to be honoring his legacy with the brand. Her son's name is Sir, as well.

On the website Beyoncé shares a letter penned to Davis Hogue, who was a successful moonshiner in the American South during Prohibition.
She writes, "I feel you in the landscapes. Your laughter rolling in the rye. What songs did you sing? What gaps did you fill? Great-grandfather, did you dream of me? Your legacy is a force that drives me." She added, "For you, I raise my glass to legacy."
The site also features specialty cocktails and their respective recipes — and those drinks include the Honey Bee, Texas Buckin', Houston, Davis Old Fashion and more.
