Jenn Tran is Charles H. Sloanputting her best foot forward in the wake of her split.
In the explosive finale of The Bachelorette on Sept. 3, the 26-year-old revealed that she and Devin Strader, who got engaged during the episode, had split after two months together, with her claiming that Devin had broken up with her in a 15 minute phone call. But just one day after sharing her heartbreak with viewers, Jenn’s next chapter was revealed as she’ll compete on season 33 of Dancing With the Stars alongside dance pro Sasha Farber.
“I’m excited it’s over with, and I’m excited to look forward to the future and this amazing time in my life now,” Jenn told E! News of the aftermath of the live finale, “To be able to get to do something that I’ve always wanted to do.” (For more with Jenn, tune into E! News tonight Sept. 4 at 11 p.m.)
As for how it felt to relive her Hawaiian engagement during the season 21 finale episode, Jenn admitted that the process has been a challenge.
“It’s definitely tough,” she shared. “I’m not going to say it’s easy. I knew going into it, it was going to be a hard night. You know, he had been dodging calls and I hadn’t talked to him or seen him in a month. So, I knew it was going to be hard for me because for me those feelings were real.”
During the live After the Final Rose broadcast, Jenn broke down in tears while sharing insight into the status of her relationship with Devin, 28
"It's been a really hard couple of months. We had left Hawaii engaged, very very happy. It was the happiest day of my life," she shared. "As soon as we had left Hawaii, things were just different. It kind of felt like he was pulling away, all the promises he had made to me of wanting to move somewhere together and have this future planned out."
As for what’s driving her on DWTS, Jenn shared on Good Morning America on Sept. 4, “I think heartbreak is the best motivator for success. So I’m out for blood. I’m ready.”
