Now that Thanksgiving is behind us, it's time to start looking ahead to another major end-of-year holiday on the calendar: Christmas.
In the midst of all the shopping and planning that go into the holiday, it can also be nice to unwind and catch a Christmas movie from time to time. Whether you are a fan of "Elf," more of a "Home Alone" person or prefer a classic like "A Christmas Story," there are plenty of options to tickle your fancy.
"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" is another classic people love to watch this time of year. The movie is a music story based on the popular song by the same name by Johnny Marks.
The movie "recounts the tale of a shy reindeer whose Christmas spirit is dampened because his shiny nose has made him the laughingstock of all of Christmasville," according to Paramount.

How to watch 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer' on TV: Showtimes on CBS, Freeform
The movie will air on CBS stations nationwide on Monday, Nov. 27 beginning at 8 p.m. ET, according to Paramount.
"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" is also scheduled to air on Freeform multiple times from Dec. 1-25 at part of Freeform's "25 Days of Christmas" lineup, the company said in a news release.
The movie will air on the following dates and times:

- Friday, Dec. 3 at 7:10 p.m.
- Monday, Dec. 4 at 5:50 p.m.
- Wednesday, Dec. 20 at 8:15 p.m.
- Thursday, Dec. 21 at 5:15 p.m.
- Sunday, Dec. 24 at 5:35 p.m.
- Monday, Dec. 25 at 3:30 p.m.
How to watch 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer' on streaming
The holiday classic is available to purchase on Amazon Prime Video. You can buy it in standard definition or high definition for $7.99.
The movie is available to purchase for the same price on Apple TV+.
